Am I Home Yet?
Hi all
Well, it’s been a quiet time for me…sorry about that, If you’re wondering what I’ve been up to, I’ve been running all over the country having one of the most amazing weeks ever taking time to see my friends, indulge my passions and get involved in some phenomenal personal development…here’s a quick summary.
The week didn’t start so well, last Friday I was really ill, but with some Dad sponsored TLC I made it to Wembley for the NFL Game and got to see my friends, which just gave me so much energy!
When I got home I packed and was straight out the door again, taking some students on a team building weekend in preparation for The Upside Down Conference later in the year… I really enjoy these trips as not only do I get to grab the opportunity to take part in activities I love but I also get to meet some great young people and develop my skills as an enterprising person.
This week’s events were amazingly organised by the team at Anglesey Adventures who took great care of us and facilitated some brilliant learning and development experiences (including my 130 ft abseil). The key thing I will be taking from this is to step back and listen more to those around me, especially when working with students… I know I can be a bit bull headed but a good friend (Thanks Beth) showed me that silence sometimes really is golden.
After being absolutely shattered by these events I somehow managed to drag myself out of bed this morning and make the SimVenture accredited course in London (Don’t ask me how!?£%!) and got to meet some great people, both old friends and new acquaintances and now I’m on the way home…to sleep and have a nice quite weekend…and if you believe that you obviously don’t know me that well
Peace
Thanks Guys
