I’m Back, Thanks for Waiting

Hi Guys
Well first off welcome back! It’s been a while and taken some time to get the new site up and running but here it is… and I intend to get back to regular blogging from now on, keeping you up to date on all the weird and wonderful goings-on in my life that prompt me to take a while to ponder.

But first a quick round – up; the last few months have been amazing work at the centre has gone from strength to strength and even in the current economic climate I am confident that next year will see us produce some more amazing projects! If you want to know what those might be… or just be kept generally up to date and haven’t seen it yet check out the new Zone blog to keep up to date with news and events.

However, for those of you following my twitter and YouTube, you will know that the last few weeks have been particularly amazing and I want to spend a few lines expressing my gratitude to the people involved.

Firstly to my father for making Glastonbury such an amazing festival, you really are a wonderful father, friend and mentor and I am lucky to have you in my life.

Then to my friends Heather, Gareth and James for making my birthday this year so memorable even when I thought it would pass without note (and to all the other friends and family who wished me well and sent cards and gifts).

Next to the Princes Trust for giving me the chance to meet Prince Charles and also the opportunity to mentor some truly wonderful young entrepreneurs like Kieran and Emma, if you haven’t connected with them yet please do and find out about what they are doing.

Yet more thanks to Judith and Beth for helping me prep and run the Scientriffic event at Glyndwr this weekend, it was such fun getting families involved in competitions, and I couldn’t have done it without your help and support!

Last but by no means least not so much a thank you but a public celebration of my joy for my best friend Josh who has just go engaged to the most wonderful girl – Kate, I wish you both every happiness together!

And finally thanks to all of you reading this post, it’s nice to know you’ve held on, I must now away to do some work, but lets end on a quick question…who should you be saying thank you to today?

Peace
Matt

P.S. In case you haven’t taken a look please go and take a look at Team Altitude (mine and Kieran’s charity endeavour) we could really use your support to reach the first £1000 we need to take part in the Rickshaw Run!

  1. Hi Matt :)
    Welcome back :)
I only found your place recently via Ben so I can’t compare it to how it used to be around here but I just wanted to say how fab it looks now. Love the header!

As for saying thank you, I’m thankful to my friends who keep me going when it all looks a bit wobbly.

    Have a great day,
    El

  3. Thanks for the congrats dude!

On a technical note, your anti-spam captcha is basically useless to anyone that tries…

I’d recommend negative turing test or akismet (with moderation):
